About

Founded in May 2021, we are a youth football club based in the heart of Cranbrook, a vibrant and close-knit community in the beautiful countryside of Kent. Our club is dedicated to providing a fun, inclusive and safe environment for children to develop their football skills, build lifelong friendships and foster a love for the beautiful game.

At CJFC, we believe that football is more than just a sport. It’s an opportunity for children to learn important life skills such as teamwork, perseverance, discipline and sportsmanship. Our experienced and dedicated coaching staff work tirelessly to provide quality coaching and support to our players, helping them improve their technical abilities, tactical understanding and overall football IQ.

We offer a range of programs to suit different age groups, genders and abilities, from our popular Little Tekkers program for our youngest players to our competitive teams that compete in various local leagues. We strive to create a positive and inclusive environment where every child, regardless of their skill level, can thrive and enjoy the game.

Off the pitch, we value the importance of fostering a strong sense of community within our club. We regularly organise social events, fundraisers and community initiatives to bring our players, parents, and volunteers together as one big football family. We believe that building strong relationships and connections within our club helps to create a supportive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages the growth and development of our players both on and off the field.

As a club, we are proud of our reputation and we are committed to upholding our core values of sportsmanship, respect and fair play. We promote a culture of inclusivity, diversity and equality, welcoming players of all backgrounds, genders and abilities to join our club and be part of our footballing family.

We are grateful for the unwavering support of our dedicated volunteers, parents, sponsors and the wider Cranbrook community, who share our passion for youth football and help us create a positive and nurturing environment for our players to thrive. We look forward to welcoming new players and families to our club and sharing in the joy and excitement of football.

Training

League playing teams have midweek futsal training, offering an excellent opportunity for players to work on their skills in a high-intensity, small-sided environment. Weekend training, when possible, would take place on Saturday and Sunday mornings from 10-11am, providing an hour of focused training sessions to develop teamwork, tactics and fitness.

Home matches and training sessions will be held at Cranbrook School, providing a familiar setting for many of the players. For away games, which may involve travel throughout Kent and East Sussex, parents and guardians are expected to manage the transportation logistics. This ensures that players can compete and gain valuable match experience across a variety of venues, contributing to their overall development.

Application & Membership Fees

As a guide, our membership fees help cover the cost of affiliation with the Kent FA, league fees, insurances, pitch maintenance, winter training hire, referee fees, match & training equipment, DBS checks, FA Level 1 Coaching, First Aid & Safeguarding course fees as well as help fund tournaments & trophies.

Registration is only complete once we have received this payment in full. We operate a ‘No Pay, No Play’ policy. Please contact the Club if you would like to request a resonable adjustment.

If you have a sibling in the Club it will be £140 for the 1st child and £100 thereafter.

If there is no space you will be put on the waiting list.

Kit

As a registered player, each child is provided with a full kit for training and match days EXCEPT football boots and shin pads which parents/guardians must provide. Note that if any child turns up in trainers and/or without shin pads they WILL  NOT be allowed to play (for welfare reasons).
